Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for citizens ahead of the Youm‑e‑Quds Rally scheduled to take place after Friday prayers on March 13, 2026 (23rd Ramadan 1447 AH) in Karachi.
According to a media release from the office of the Deputy Inspector General Traffic Karachi, a religious group will organize the rally from Numaish Chowrangi to Amma Tower Karachi on M. A. Jinnah Road.

Authorities have advised the public to avoid the main road during the rally and instead use alternative routes to reduce congestion and reach their destinations more easily.
Alternative Traffic Routes
Traffic police have announced several diversions for commuters traveling toward the city center:
Teen Hatti to Tower:
Citizens traveling from Teen Hatti Karachi toward Tower Karachi can take Guru Mandir Road toward Soldier Bazaar and Bahadur Yar Jang Road.
Another option is to turn left from Banori Signal Karachi toward PPP Chowrangi Karachi via Corridor-3.
Nazimabad to Tower:
Traffic coming from Nazimabad Karachi can travel through Lasbela Karachi, then turn right to Nishtar Road Karachi, pass through Ranchor Line Karachi, and continue toward Civil Hospital Karachi.
Fresco Chowk / Eidgah Chowk toward Numaish:
Vehicles from Fresco Chowk Karachi and Eidgah Chowk Karachi heading to Numaish will be diverted from Tibet Centre Karachi toward Regal Chowk Karachi and Empress Market Karachi, or from Jubilee Chowk Karachi toward Aga Khan III Road and the Coast Guard route to Soldier Bazaar.
Daudpota Road / Lucky Star:
Traffic coming from Daudpota Road Karachi and Lucky Star Karachi toward Numaish will be diverted from Preedy Street Chowk Karachi toward Saddar Dawakhana Karachi and PP Chowrangi Karachi, or toward Regal Chowk.
Garden to Zainab Market / Mobile Market:
Commuters traveling from Garden Karachi near the zoo toward Zaibunnisa Street Karachi can use Aga Khan III Road via the Coast Guard route to Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar, or turn right from Uncle Saria Hospital Karachi toward Saeed Manzil Karachi.
The Karachi Traffic Police has requested citizens to cooperate with law-enforcement agencies and follow the traffic guidelines to avoid inconvenience.
