Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday after a seven-day upward trend, following declines in the international bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 700 to Rs. 540,562, while the rate for 24-karat per 10 grams dropped by Rs. 600 to Rs. 463,444.

The price of 22K gold per 10 grams in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 550 to Rs. 424,839.
The decline reflects a $7 fall in international gold prices, which settled at $5,178 per ounce.
Gold Rates in Karachi for Thursday, February 26, 2026:
- Gold, 24K per tola: Rs. 540,562 down by Rs. 700
- Gold, 24K per 10 grams: Rs. 463,444 down by Rs. 600
- Gold, 22K per 10 grams: Rs. 424,839 down by Rs. 550
Gold had previously reached record highs this year, scaling $5,594.82 per ounce on January 29, marking a 20% rise so far in 2026.
The recent moderation comes after strong gains earlier this week, when gold per tola had surged by Rs. 3,400, reflecting continued demand in both local and international markets.

Market observers note that while prices have eased slightly, the overall trend remains influenced by global uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and investor interest in safe-haven assets.
All rates are officially certified by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, based on interbank exchange rates for purity 999 (24K).
