The intensity of heat in Karachi is expected to rise from the second week of March, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The PMD explained that the return of sea breezes has increased humidity levels in the air, which may lead to fog formation, particularly during early morning and late night hours.

Meanwhile, rainfall is forecast in the upper parts of the country during the last days of February and early March.

However, Karachi will remain dry, with gradually rising daytime temperatures as the city moves closer to the summer season.
