The Sri Lanka Police have announced strict security and special traffic arrangements for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan on Sunday, February 15, at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The match will begin at 7:00 p.m local time, while all stadium gates will open to spectators at 3:00 p.m.

Authorities have urged fans to arrive as early as possible to help ensure smooth entry and avoid last-minute congestion.
Police have arranged multiple designated parking locations for spectators, including Grandpass Meti Park, Satosa Car Park, Sebastian Alley Car Park, Covil Road Car Park, Appelwatta Car Park, and both sides of Adi Sia Park. Vehicles carrying official passes issued by Sri Lanka Cricket will be permitted to enter through Khettarama Junction and Wilson-Premadasa Mawatha via Gates 1 and 2.
To maintain steady traffic flow, several access routes around the stadium will be temporarily restricted or controlled.

These include roads near Babapulle Junction via Brito Babapulle Bridge, areas surrounding Babapulle Bridge, entry points from Sebastian Alley through Malwatta Road, sections near Temple Road, Stadium Road, and the junction of Saddharma Mawatha and Khettarama Road.
Prople are requested to follow police directions and use designated routes.
Security measures will include vehicle inspections, physical screening of spectators, drone surveillance, and extensive CCTV monitoring across all gates and nearby roads.

Outside food is allowed, and refreshments will be available at stadium outlets, but alcohol is not permitted.
Spectators are also strictly forbidden from entering the playing area.
Authorities have appealed to both local and foreign spectators to cooperate fully with security personnel and follow all guidelines to ensure the match is conducted safely and peacefully in Colombo.
