The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a star-studded commentary panel for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will take place in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.

The panel features a mix of former cricket legends and current stars, ensuring high-quality and engaging coverage for fans worldwide.

ICC.TV will provide the world feed to its broadcast partners, delivering consistent coverage across all markets.

Renowned commentators Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop will lead the team.

Joining them are former T20 World Cup winners including Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite.

Other celebrated voices of the game are also part of the lineup, reflecting a strong international presence throughout the tournament.

South Africa’s current longer format captain and ICC World Test Championship winner, Temba Bavuma, will make a special appearance on commentary, while 2014 T20 World Cup-winner Angelo Mathews will also join the team, marking his first commentary role in a World Cup.

ICC.TV’s coverage will include pre-match shows, innings interval programmes, post-match wrap-ups, and daily highlights, capturing all the action from the group stage to the knockout rounds and the final on March 8.

From Pakistan, legendary cricketers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ramiz Raja, and Bazid Khan will feature in the commentary team, adding expert insights for fans.

The panel also includes international names such as Sunil Gavaskar, Matthew Hayden, Dale Steyn, Michael Atherton, Eoin Morgan, and Katey Martin, among others.

Renowned commentator from Bangladesh, Athar Ali Khan, is also part of the commentary panel.
