Ghee, oil prices raised by Rs15 at Utility Stores right before Ramazan

The federal government has approved an increase in the prices of cooking oil and ghee sold at utility stores across Pakistan ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

Prices Increased by Up to Rs15 Per Kg

According to the details, prices of various brands of cooking oil and ghee have been increased by up to Rs15 per kilogram.

The price revision comes shortly before Ramadan, a period when demand for essential food items generally increases.

The government has directed utility stores to implement the revised prices with immediate effect.

Consumers purchasing cooking oil and ghee from utility stores will therefore have to pay the increased rates under the new pricing notification.
