The Karachi city administration has officially opened registrations for the upcoming “City Run 26 Karachi,” a 10-kilometre running event aimed at promoting health, positivity, and community engagement across the city.

The race will take place on January 25, 2026.

Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, announced that citizens from all walks of life are encouraged to participate and be part of this celebration of fitness and sportsmanship.

“The City Run will help strengthen peace in Karachi and promote healthy and constructive activities,” he said.

How to register for City Run 26 Karachi

Participants can register online or directly at the Commissioner’s Office on Club Road, where a dedicated registration desk has been set up with a special team to assist participants.

Choose from categories including Male, Female, Minor, and Above 50 participants.

Click on Complete Registration to confirm your participation.

Participants who prefer in-person registration can visit the Commissioner’s Office during office hours for assistance.

According to the details, a total of 442 participants have registered so far, including 291 male runners, 34 female runners, 41 participants aged over 50, and 77 children under the age of 18.

The race will start from Tower, pass through key city roads, and conclude at the Club Ground.

Cash prizes will be awarded to winners in each category, while all participants who complete the run within the allotted time will receive medals.

DIG Traffic Pir Muhammad Shah has been appointed chairman of the organising committee, with Deputy Commissioner South Javed Nabi Khoso, Additional Commissioners I Ghulam Mehdi Shah and II Asad Allah Khoso, Assistant Commissioner General Hazim Bhangwar, and Director Sports Ghulam Muhammad Khan overseeing various aspects of the event.
