Gold and silver prices eased slightly in Pakistan on Thursday as both metals recorded modest losses, extending the ongoing market consolidation phase that began mid-week.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola dipped by Rs 600, settling at Rs 466,162. However, in 10 grams, 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 515 to Rs 399,658.
The price for 22-karat gold also edged down, declining by Rs 472 to close at Rs 366,366.

Internationally, the gold price per ounce fell by $6 to $4,438. The slight pullback in the global benchmark mirrored the subdued sentiment in local trading.

Silver prices saw a more noticeable decline, with the domestic price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 236 to Rs. 8,125.
Silver per 10 grams followed, falling by Rs 203 to Rs 6,965, meanwhile, globally, silver declined by $2.36 to $76.50 per ounce.
