In a major initiative to empower women and provide skill development opportunities, the Sindh government has launched a free scooter-riding training program for women across Karachi.

The program aims to enhance mobility, independence, and confidence among women while promoting road safety awareness.

Interested participants can apply through a straightforward procedure, and the government plans to expand the program to additional cities in the province in the near future.

Training Locations and Timings:

DHA, Karachi: Fridays and Sundays, 2 pm to 6 pm

Required Documents for Application:

  • CNIC
  • Domicile/PRC
  • One passport-size photograph
  • Office/Student card
  • Motorbike learner or valid licence

How to Apply:

Women can submit hard or scanned copies of all required documents via WhatsApp at or in person at the Head Office: D43, Shahra‑e‑Ghalib, Clifton Block 2, Karachi.

Additionally, women who already possess a valid motorcycle licence can register for the Pink EV Scooty program under the Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA), with distribution beginning soon.
