A football semifinal at the 35th National Games in Karachi descended into chaos as players from Pakistan Army and WAPDA clashed in a violent brwal at the KPT Sports Complex.
The confrontation broke out immediately after the final whistle.

Army players began celebrating their win aggressively in front of the WAPDA bench, which provoked heated arguments.
The situation quickly escalated into shoving and punching between the two sides.
The clash reportedly intensified when WAPDA player Shaik Dost ran in and kicked an Army player, triggering a larger fight.

During the brawl, several WAPDA players also approached the referee angrily over a disputed decision, forcing the official to seek shelter in the officials’ room.
Some players broke in and assaulted the referee.
Match officials and the Commissioner are now preparing a detailed report of the incident to submit to the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) and the Football Federation.
Given the severity of the violence, disciplinary action against players from both teams is highly likely.

The 35th National Games, which officially began on December 6, are being held across Karachi with 32 sports disciplines at more than 20 venues.
The week-long event will conclude on December 13.
