Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium, also known as Narol Cricket Stadium, has hosted the Kashmir Premier League since its inception and has served as a community resource during emergencies, including being converted into a hospital after major earthquakes.

Upgrading these northern venues is expected to boost cricket in the region and increase their chances of hosting major international events in the future.
