Abdullah Fazal’s brilliant hundred placed Karachi Region Blues in a dominant position against Sialkot Region on the second day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (QEAT) 2025-26 final at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.
Sialkot, who started the day at 235-6 and were behind by 105 runs, were dismissed for 266 in 71.5 overs.
Hamza Nazar fought back with a patient 64 off 126balls, hitting eight fours, while Hasan Ali added a quick 41 from 43 deliveries, striking three boundaries and two sixes.

Captain Usama Mir was removed for eight, and Mohammad Hasnain managed only four as Karachi’s bowlers kept tight control.
Saqib Khan led the attack with 4-79 in 23.5 overs, while Muhammad Umar also claimed four wickets for the same number of runs.
Mushtaq Ahmed picked up one.

Karachi Blues then strengthened their grip on the match by reaching 202-1 in 64 overs in their second innings, stretching their overall lead to 276 runs.
Openers Saad Baig and Abdullah Fazal gave the team a steady start with a 53-run stand, during which Saad crossed 1,000 run-mark in the tournament.
Baig fell after scoring 31 off 39 balls, but Fazal continued with confidence and built a solid partnership with Haroon Arshad.

Fazal completed a well-crafted unbeaten 104 from 200 balls, striking 11 fours.
Haroon supported him with 55 off 145 deliveries as Karachi pushed towards a commanding position.
With a strong lead and a settled pair at the crease, Karachi Blues look well placed to push for the QEAT title.
