Karachi is expected to enjoy plenty of sunshine today as pleasant autumn weather continues, even though the latest weather data suggests an underlying cooling trend in the next few days.

According to the data of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Wednesday is a great day for sunshine with temperatures reaching 30°C in the high and 15°C in the low.

The RealFeel temperature is in line with the real temperature of 30°C, and the RealFeel shade is comfortable at 28°C. East-northeasterly winds of 11 km/h offer a comfortable airflow, and the UV Index stays at a moderate 4.0.

The PMD predicts an increase in temperature gradually through Friday, with the high falling to 29°C and nighttime temperatures remaining consistently cool.

The consistent northeasterly winds throughout the time contribute to comfort and ease of living. They also help to maintain the air quality.

Karachi Air Quality:

Karachi is experiencing elevated air pollution levels, with PM2.5 readings indicating unhealthy conditions in multiple areas across the city.

Recent measurements show that several key locations are recording PM2.5 levels well above the safe limits recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).

In Keamari Town, the Solid Waste Management site recorded a PM2.5 concentration of 143. Saddar Town showed some of the highest levels, with DG House DHA 5 and NED University City Campus both hitting 177, while Zafar Memon DHA reported 167.

Jamshed Town also faced severe pollution, with Karachi Zoo and Asif Gulistan-e-Johar both recording 168, Urban Resource Center at 164, and Urban Unit Karachi at 159. In Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, Agha Khan University IED recorded 165 and NED Main Campus registered 158.
