Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman inaugurated the newly revamped Muhammadi Ground in Liaquatabad, built under the Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Liaquatabad for public recreation and community events.

The ground, spread over five acres, was previously an unused area where Friday markets were held, vehicles were parked, and sewage water from nearby settlements often accumulated, creating unhygienic conditions for the nearby residents.

Town Chairman Faraz Haseeb, while addressing the participants at the inauguration, said Muhammadi Ground was originally developed by Jamaat-e-Islami’s former City Nazim Naimatullah Khan in 2002 and has now been rebuilt after 23 years.

He added that the foundation stone of the redeveloped Muhammadi Ground was laid last year by Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and that its completion reflects Jamaat-e-Islami’s commitment to providing public relief through local initiatives.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District Central Kamran Siraj also addressed the gathering, saying that the development of the Muhammadi Ground and local parks reflects Jamaat-e-Islami’s positive response to the trust of Liaquatabad residents.
