The star-studded commentary panel announced for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes 2025, set to take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground from November 7 to 9.
Cricket legends Waqar Younis of Pakistan, Australia’s Michael Clarke, and Sri Lanka’s Farveez Maharoof will headline the panel.

They will be joined by former Indian cricketers Joydeep Mukherjee and Nikhil Chopra, along with England’s Dominic Cork and Nikki Chaudhuri, promising expert insights and lively discussions throughout the three-day tournament.
The 12-team event will feature four groups of three teams each, with Pakistan drawn in Pool C alongside India and Kuwait.
The Green Shirts are scheduled to depart for Hong Kong on November 5 and will face both opponents on the opening day of the group stage, November 7.

Leading Pakistan’s squad is emerging fast bowler Abbas Afridi, who has played 24 T20Is for the national team.
The full squad includes Abdul Samad, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Maaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Shahzad, Saad Masood, and Shahid Aziz, with Danish Aziz and Mohammad Faiq named as non-travelling reserves.
The Hong Kong Sixes last played in 2017 before returning in 2024 after a long break. Pakistan finished as runners-up in the last three editions, falling short in the finals against South Africa in 2012 and 2017, and Sri Lanka in 2024.
Overall, Pakistan is the most successful team in the tournament, having won five titles so far, with their most recent triumph coming in 2011 when they defeated England in the final.
