National Highways and Motorway Police have provided comprehensive travel guidelines for participants attending the annual Tablighi Ijtima at Raiwind.

Officials stressed the importance of all participants utilizing vehicles that are registered and fitness certified; any unsuitable transport poses significant risks not only to its passengers but also other motorists on major highways.

This advisory also stressed that traveling in vehicles not specifically designed to transport passengers – such as trucks, Mazdas, open-body pickups or any other transport not specifically designated to do so – is strictly forbidden under traffic regulations and could lead to serious injuries or fatalities.
Participants were also cautioned to avoid riding on the rooftops of buses, coasters or high-speed vehicles as this practice remains illegal and poses extreme safety hazards during long distance highway travel.
Motorway Police representatives emphasized to citizens that only vehicles meeting all required standards were allowed on motorways, with any unregistered or unsafe transport being quickly turned back at toll plazas.

Authorities confirmed that stringent checks have been instituted at all entry and exit points, with enforcement teams working to stop vehicles that do not meet safety or documentation requirements from moving.
