Karachi Traffic Police have unveiled an in-depth traffic management plan ahead of Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference 2025 (PIMEC 2025), scheduled to take place from November 3 to 6 at Expo Center Karachi.
According to a spokesperson, the plan aims to ensure smooth movement during the high-profile Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference 2025 while minimizing public disruption.
Karachi Traffic Police has implemented temporary restrictions on heavy and commercial vehicles near key routes leading to both Expo Center and National Stadium.

Under these new arrangements, heavy and commercial traffic coming from Shahrah-e-Faisal (Nursery side) will no longer be permitted to move towards the Stadium.
According to Karachi Traffic Police, no movement from Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road towards Sir Shah Suleman Road will be allowed.
Motorists traveling from Karsaz and Drigh Road can use Rashid Minhas Road via Millennium Mall or NIPA.
Vehicles arriving from the airport will be diverted to Rashid Minhas Road and Millennium Mall by taking a right turn from Drigh Road.
Motorists traveling between Karsaz and Drigh Roads should take Rashid Minhas Road via Millennium Mall or NIPA for their journey, while vehicles coming directly from the airport should turn right onto Drigh Road at Drigh Street to reach Rashid Minhas Road and Millennium Mall via Rashid Minhas Road & Millennium Mall.

Heavy and commercial traffic from Rashid Minhas Road and Millennium Mall will not be permitted to access either Dalmia Stadium or Dalmia, instead being directed toward Shahr-e-Faisal, NIPA, Gulshan Chowrangi, Sohrab Goth, or Safoora Goth, depending on their route.
Karachi Traffic Police also announced that heavy and commercial vehicles will no longer be permitted to travel from NIPA towards Hasan Square or enter the stadium or University Road from inner areas, instead being diverted towards Shaheed-e-Millat Road through Baloch Pull.

Sir Shah Suleman Road will also remain closed to heavy and commercial traffic between Liaquatabad No.10 and Hasan Square; light vehicles can use alternative routes through Shahrah-e-Pakistan via Karimabad towards Sohrab Goth.
Karachi Traffic Police also announced that the Hasan Square Flyover would remain open to small vehicles traveling between National Stadium and the Hasan Square Flyover.
Authorities have encouraged citizens to follow traffic instructions, use alternative routes, and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth movement during this event.
