The traffic police have activated 1,076 surveillance cameras as part of Karachi’s expanding smart e-challan system to monitor violations and improve traffic management.
According to a spokesperson of Karachi Traffic Police, cameras have been installed at major intersections, roads, and public areas in Karachi to detect violations, accidents, congestion in real time.

Traffic Police report that live feeds are being continuously monitored at Karachi Traffic Control Center to ensure timely responses for violations, road emergencies and accident management.
