Day two of the fourth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy produced exceptional performances as Azan Awais, Rameez Aziz, Saifullah Bangash and Hasan Raza scored brilliant centuries, while Athar Mehmood claimed a five-wicket haul to headline an action-packed day.

At the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad, Bahawalpur posted a massive 501 runs in their first innings against Multan.

Saifullah Bangash led the charge with a stroke-filled 119 off 18 fours, while Muhammad Imran (75), Saad Khan (74), Mohammad Ammar (71) and Mohammad Sheharyar (69) also played valuable knocks.

Kashif Ali picked up four wickets for Multan.

In reply, Multan reached 111 for 1, with Waqar Hussain unbeaten on 49, to close the day in a strong position.

At the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium, Karachi Blues were bowled out for 424 against Lahore Whites.

Rameez Aziz struck a fluent 102 that included 10 fours and a six, while Omair Bin Yousuf (73), Danish Aziz (51) and Usman Rahim (52) chipped in with useful runs.

Ubaid Shah and Haseeb-ur-Rehman shared bowling honours, taking four wickets each.

Lahore Whites replied with 215 for 2, as Umar Siddiq scored 86, while Ali Zaryab remained not out on 76.

At the Imran Khan Stadium in Peshawar, the home side declared their first innings at 448 for 9 against Abbottabad.

Israrullah (117) and Maaz Sadaqat (114) struck memorable centuries.

Aqib Khan took three wickets.

Abbottabad were 159 for 6 in their first innings, with Zain Ishaq contributing 60, while Niaz Khan claimed three wickets for Peshawar.

At the Marghzar Cricket Ground in Islamabad, Faisalabad piled up 462 runs in their first innings against FATA.

Hasan Raza hammered a superb 174 with 25 fours and two sixes, while Faham-ul-Haq added 78, and the pair put on a huge 245-run opening stand.

Asim Ali Nasir also scored 67. Arshadullah and Akif Javed took four wickets each for FATA.

FATA ended the day at 10 for 2 in their second innings.

Meanwhile, at the Shoaib Akhtar Stadium in Rawalpindi, Sialkot made 407 against Islamabad, thanks to Azan Awais’ brilliant 134, which included 17 fours and two sixes.

Hammad Khan picked up three wickets.

Islamabad struggled in reply and were dismissed for 186, with Sarmad Bhatti top-scoring with 82.

Athar Mehmood starred with the ball, taking 5 for 43. Sialkot reached 50 for 3 in their second innings by stumps.
