TikTok has removed more than 25 million videos in Pakistan between April and June 2025 for violating its Community Guidelines, according to the platform’s latest Q2 2025 Enforcement Report.

In its latest Q2 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, TikTok highlighted the ongoing effort to maintain a safe and positive digital environment for its users worldwide.

In Pakistan alone, 25,448,992 videos were taken down, with 99.7% proactively removed and 96.2% deleted within 24 hours of posting.

Globally, TikTok deleted 189,578,228 videos, representing about 0.7% of total uploaded content. Of these, 163.9 million were detected through automated systems, while 7.4 million were later reinstated after review.

The report also revealed that TikTok removed over 76.9 million fake accounts and 25.9 million accounts suspected to belong to users under 13 years old.

The proactive removal rate stood at 99.1%, with 94.4% of flagged videos taken down within a day.

According to TikTok, 30.6% of the removed videos featured sensitive or mature themes, 14% violated safety and civility standards, and 6.1% breached privacy and security policies.

Additionally, 45% of deleted videos contained misinformation, and 23.8% involved AI-generated or edited media.
