The city remains under the grip of a persistent heatwave, with very warm conditions and intense sunshine driving RealFeel temperatures to 39°C, posing challenges for residents and outdoor workers.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Monday’s weather will see a maximum temperature of 37°C and a minimum of 22°C overnight.

Despite the slight dip, the RealFeel is expected to touch a sweltering 39°C, with RealFeel shade readings around 36°C.

Northwesterly winds blowing at 11 km/h are offering minimal relief, while the UV Index remains high at 6.0, increasing the risk of sunburn and dehydration during daytime hours.

Meteorologists warn that the heat pattern shows no immediate sign of easing, with similar weather expected to continue through midweek.

The hot and dry spell is being fueled by delayed sea breezes and high atmospheric pressure over southern Sindh.

Authorities have renewed their advisory urging citizens to avoid direct sun exposure, stay hydrated, and wear light clothing, particularly for those working outdoors or commuting during peak heat hours.
