The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially announced revised fees for national ID cards and Smart ID cards, effective October 2025.
According to NADRA, the normal ID card fee has been set at Rs 400, with a processing time of 15 days. The urgent ID card will cost Rs 1,150 and take 12 days, while the executive ID card fee is Rs 2,150, offering delivery within six days.
For the Smart ID card, the normal category costs Rs 750 with a processing time of 31 days, the urgent category costs Rs 1,500 with 15 days processing, and the executive category costs Rs 2,500 with nine days processing.

NADRA officials explained that the new fee structure aims to improve service accessibility, allowing citizens to select the processing speed and fee category based on their urgency and financial preference.
The executive service remains the fastest option for citizens needing an urgent ID card, significantly reducing the waiting period to just a few days and ensuring prompt document issuance.
Officials stressed that these fee adjustments are part of NADRA’s efforts to streamline registration services and make identity documentation more efficient for Pakistanis both within the country and abroad.
