The department has advised residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure, especially during peak afternoon hours, as intense sunlight and low humidity increase the risk of heat exhaustion and dehydration.
Health authorities have issued similar warnings, urging people to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and use sun protection such as hats, umbrellas, and sunscreen to counter the high UV radiation levels.
