Google has introduced its AI Pro Plan for students in Pakistan, offering one year of free access to its advanced Gemini 2.5 Pro tools.

The initiative extends to over 140 countries, giving students access to AI-powered assistance for research, writing, and study preparation across Google’s ecosystem. The offer remains free for a limited period until December 9, 2025.

The AI Pro Plan integrates Google’s powerful products – Gemini, Google One, and NotebookLM – to help students summarize research material, prepare assignments, and generate structured study notes in seconds.

Through Deep Research, Gemini collects verified information from multiple sources and presents it in clear, cited summaries. The Guided Learning feature provides step-by-step explanations of complex topics, promoting deeper understanding.

Students can also access Gemini’s features directly within Gmail, Docs, and Slides – enabling automatic content summaries, writing suggestions, and instant presentation generation using natural prompts.

Additionally, the package includes 2TB of cloud storage through Google One, combining access to Google Drive and Photos to safely store documents, notes, and project files for easy collaboration.

Students in Pakistan aged 18 or older are eligible for this free offer. Registration requires a personal Google account and student verification through SheerID, ensuring academic use only.

Several users reported a temporary Rs. 158 hold during sign-up, which was refunded shortly after linking payment methods. This process helps validate identity and ensure authorized access.

Google emphasized that linking an account to AI Pro is optional, and no personal data will be shared or used to train AI models. The company aims to improve the plan through student feedback as adoption expands.
