The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is starting a tree plantation drive in Karachi from February 15.
The Karachi administrator has requested trader bodies to join hands with the KMC in this regard. He met a delegation of traders at the KMC Building Tuesday.
Ahmed requested traders of Arambagh, Cloth Market, Allahwala Market, Jama Cloth Market, Sarafa Bazar and other markets to keep at least one flower vase in front of every shop.
He urged trader bodies to contribute to the beautification of the city by keeping their business places clean and green.
The Karachi administrator listened to the issues faced by businesspersons and assured them of their resolution.
