Federal religious affairs minister Noor ul Haq Qadri said Monday Pakistani pilgrims, along with those from eight other states, haven’t been allowed entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as it opens Umrah applications, ARY News reported.
According to ARY News, the minister said Pakistan is not on the list of countries whose pilgrims will now be conditionally allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia.
The guidelines for countries visas are open for were issued by the Saudi Arabian e-visa portal from August 1.
According to the guidelines, Travellers to KSA need to have received two doses of the Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines as well as an additional dose of one of the four approved vaccines: Oxford/Astra Zeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna or Johnson and Johnson.
