YouTuber Yasir Shami has been cleared in the Aamir Liaquat Hussain inappropriate pictures case. The Sessions Court accepted his appeal against the earlier rejection of his acquittal request.
The court’s decision has officially released Shami from all charges linked to the viral videos of the late television personality.
“There is no evidence against Yasir Shami,” said his lawyer, Advocate Aslam Bhutta. He explained that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) also confirmed this in its report.

According to Bhutta, the FIA submitted a supplementary challan, declaring the evidence insufficient. The report also recommended removing Shami’s name from the case entirely.
However, the Judicial Magistrate had dismissed both the FIA’s findings and Shami’s acquittal request. Following this, Bhutta filed an appeal in the Sessions Court. The latest ruling overturned the Magistrate’s decision and brought the case to a close.
The original complaint over the leaked pictures came from Aamir Liaquat’s daughter.
