US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to major tech companies, including Google, Microsoft, and Apple, urging them to stop outsourcing jobs to India and China and prioritize creating employment within the United States.

Speaking at an AI Summit in Washington, Trump criticized American firms for building factories in China, outsourcing jobs to India, and shifting profits to Ireland — all while, he said, neglecting American workers. “Those days are over,” he declared.

The president called on tech companies to show economic patriotism, saying, “To win the race in artificial intelligence, tech companies must choose America first and provide jobs for the American people.”

During the summit, Trump also signed three new presidential orders related to artificial intelligence, aiming to boost domestic innovation and tighten regulations on overseas operations.

This isn’t Trump’s first clash with tech giants. He previously demanded that Apple stop manufacturing iPhones in India, threatening a 25% tariff on devices made outside the U.S.

The latest statements mark a renewed push by Trump to re-shore technology and manufacturing jobs as part of his broader “America First” economic policy.
