The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched an online NOC (No Objection Certificate) system to facilitate foreign tourists visiting the province.
According to Secretary Tourism Dr. Abdul Samad, the KP Tourism and Culture Authority has developed a digital portal that allows international visitors with valid tourist visas to register online in a quick and secure manner.
“This system is designed to ease the registration process for foreign tourists. Soon, the facility will also be extended to international climbers and trekkers,” said Dr. Samad.
The online platform will issue NOCs for travel to popular tourist destinations such as Chitral, Swat, and Upper Dir. Foreigners will be required to obtain this clearance before entering these areas.
Officials said the online registration app will eventually include features to help tourists navigate and reach designated tourist spots more conveniently.
The move is part of KP’s broader efforts to promote tourism while ensuring security protocols are maintained in sensitive areas.
