Motorcyclists across Sindh, including Karachi, can now apply for the Ajrak-themed number plates online through a new digital service launched by the Sindh Excise Department.
The entire process – from application to payment and status tracking – is digital, removing the need to visit offices or wait in long queues for hours.
Step-by-Step Process to Apply Online
Visit the official website of excise https://excise.gos.pk and click on ‘Quick Online Tax Payment’. Choose ‘Two-Wheel’, then enter your bike registration number and mobile number.
Solve the CAPTCHA to view your bike details. Select the nearest branch office, click on ‘Calculate Amount’, and generate your PSID (Payment Slip ID).
Fee and Payment
The Ajrak number plate fee is Rs. 1,850. Use any mobile banking app. Enter your PSID in the “consumer ID” field to complete payment.
This system uses the One Link platform, making payments fast, secure, and accessible for all users across Pakistan with digital banking options.
Track Your Process
After payment, go to ‘Check Your Number Plate’ on the website. Choose ‘Two Wheeler’, enter your registration number, and click Search to view status.
Once your plate is ready, you’ll get a notification to collect it from your selected Excise office location. Bring your payment proof for verification.
