The Embassy of the Netherlands has announced that it will temporarily suspend its operations in Pakistan until further notice.
The Netherlands Embassy issued a new advisory, according to which the embassy urged all applicants with scheduled appointments not to visit the premises, stating that the embassy team would contact affected individuals directly with updates and rescheduling details.
This update comes after an earlier closure on July 7, when the embassy first suspended operations due to heavy rainfall and flooding on its premises.
At the time, the embassy had informed the public: “Due to heavy rainfall and flooding at the embassy premises, the embassy will be closed tomorrow, 7th July 2025. If you have an appointment scheduled, please do not come to the embassy.”
The embassy has apologized for the inconvenience and thanked applicants for their patience and understanding.
