The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a monsoon update for Karachi, indicating continued weak monsoon currents over the region.
According to the report released by the department, Karachi is expected to experience mostly cloudy and humid weather, with chances oflight rain or drizzle on Wednesday July 9, 2025.
Similar conditions are forecast for nearby districts including Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, Sujawal, Hyderabad, Umerkot, Jamshoro, Qambar Shahdadkot, Larkana, and Dadu.
The city will remain partly cloudy and humid, with chances of drizzle on Thursday July 10 as well.

Daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 33 to 35°C, while minimum temperatures will range from 28 to 30°C across the metropolis.
Light rain may provide temporary relief but is not expected to significantly change the weather pattern.
Earlier to this, PMD issued a forecast related to Karachi weather, predicted light rain in Karachi.
The Met Office has forecast light rainfall or drizzling in Karachi on Monday 7 July, along with hot and humid conditions across the city.
According to the weather report, coastal areas including Karachi may see brief showers, while strong winds and rain are expected in other Sindh districts such as Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, and Sukkur.
Humidity levels will remain high in the city, making the weather feel warmer despite the chance of rain.
