The National Assembly of Pakistan is inviting students to join its six-week Parliamentary Internship Programme 2025, offering real experience in public policy and parliamentary research.
As part of its Strategic Plan initiatives, the Assembly has launched this internship program to enhance civic participation among young people and strengthen ties with academic institutions.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have completed 14 years of education from an HEC-recognised university. Students in their third year of a four-year degree may also apply.
Eligible Fields of Study
Degrees in Law, Media, Economics, Business, IT, HR, Finance, Commerce, Social Sciences, and Agriculture are eligible for the National Assembly Internship Programme 2025.
The candidates must have to secure at least 60 percent marks or a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0, and the maximum age to apply is 30 years.

Students and graduates from remote or underrepresented areas like Balochistan, South Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are especially encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
What to Expect
The internship lasts six weeks, five days weekly. Interns will attend an orientation at PIPS, followed by full-day placements in Assembly departments.
Interns must follow a formal dress code, attend 85 percent of sessions, and stay non-political. No salary or future job is guaranteed.

Applicants must upload their CV, CNIC, photo, degree/transcript, and a university internship letter. Missing documents or incomplete forms will lead to disqualification.

Applications must be submitted online by April 30, 2025. NADRA will not accept emails, post, or hand-delivered forms for this internship programme.
