The toll tax on Lyari Expressway has been increased once again, with small and commercial vehicle owners now required to pay higher charges.
According to the official announcement, the NHA has increased the toll tax of Karachi’s Lyari Expressway by Rs 10, with the new rates taking effect from April 1.
This marks the second toll hike this year, as the NHA had already raised the tax by Rs 10 in January.
Regular commuters using the expressway have expressed concerns over the frequent increases, citing additional financial burdens.
The Lyari Expressway is a key route in Karachi, providing a faster alternative for daily commuters.
Earlier to this, the NHA has increased toll tax on various motorways across Pakistan, as per a notification issued by the authority.
