The National Electric Power and Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has announced a reduction in electricity prices across the country in its latest monthly adjustment.
For consumers outside Karachi, electricity rates have been cut by Rs. 2.12 per unit, while K-Electric consumers in Karachi will see a reduction of Rs. 3 per unit.
NEPRA has issued official notifications confirming the price adjustments, ensuring that consumers will benefit from lower electricity bills in March.
According to the notification, the reduction for K-Electric users applies to the December 2024 adjustment, whereas the price cut for the rest of the country is based on the January 2025 adjustment.
