As Champions Trophy 2025 is around the corner, the Pakistan Airports Authority, in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and various security agencies, has finalized a detailed security plan.
Security has been heightened at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport due to the arrival of broadcasters, umpires, and other officials for the mega event scheduled to start on February 19.
According to media reports, special arrangements have been made to ensure the safety and exclusive arrangements for teams, international media personnel, broadcasters, and officials.
The teams will be received at the VIP terminal to ensure smooth and secure transit, while, heavy police deployment has been observed around the airport, with a focus on maintaining high-level security throughout the event.
