Militants responsible for the attack on Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud in Kurram district have been identified.
As per media reports, the attack, which took place on Saturday, resulted in injuries to the Deputy Commissioner and three security personnel.
Media reports indicate that, in addition to the five primary suspects, legal cases will be filed against other individuals involved in facilitating the attack.
Those responsible for the gunfire will be handed over to authorities, with arrests expected to be made promptly once the case is filed.
The Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will convene a high-level meeting in Kohat on Sunday, which will include the RPO Kohat, DPO Kurram, and other senior officials.
The Chief Secretary of KP is also set to attend the meeting, according to media reports.
