Speaking in an exclusive interview with Times of Karachi, Mir Hussain Ali described Raza as a hardworking, kind-hearted young entrepreneur who stayed away from trouble and dedicated himself to his business.
“I don’t have the words to express my grief. It is the greatest sorrow of my life. My pride is gone,” he said.
Rejecting speculation about any personal enmity, Hussain Ali said Raza never mentioned receiving threats or having disputes with anyone. “He was educated, business-minded, and focused on his work. If there had been any issue, he would have discussed it with me,” he said.
According to the grieving father, Raza left home as part of his usual routine after returning from work around 3-4AM. When family members later tried to contact him, his mobile phone and WhatsApp became inactive and later deactivated, prompting them to begin searching for him.
The family, alongside police, traced his last known location through technical data. Hussain Ali said they were later shown a photograph by investigators before identifying Raza’s body, which had been found in bushes nearly two days earlier.
Recalling the heartbreaking moment, he said, “The way he was lying there is something I never imagined I would see in my life.”
Hussain Ali said he is satisfied with the ongoing investigation and expressed confidence in the police, particularly Ferozabad SHO Adil Afzal, hoping the authorities would identify and arrest those responsible.

“They have remained in contact with us throughout the investigation, and I hope they will bring the killers to justice,” he said.
The bereaved father also revealed that Raza’s wedding was scheduled for August 30. According to him, it was a marriage of Raza’s own choice, and he was excitedly preparing for the occasion.
“My son was very happy. His nikah was fixed for August 30,” he said.
When asked whether he suspected any of Raza’s friends, Hussain Ali refused to accuse anyone without evidence.
“I know his friends. I will never point fingers at anyone without proof. If it turns out that a friend was involved, it will destroy my faith in friendship,” he said.
Concluding the interview, Hussain Ali made an emotional appeal for justice, saying no punishment could heal his family’s loss but hoped those responsible would be held accountable.
