The Sindh government has announced public holidays across the province on the occasion of Eidul Adha 2026, allowing citizens to celebrate the religious festival with their families.
The Government of Sindh has declared four public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Adha. The notification covers all government offices, educational institutions, and public departments.

The Sindh Eid holidays 2026 will be observed from May 26 to May 29 across the province. The notification was issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department on May 22.
The holidays fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday corresponding to the 9th to 12th of Zil Hajj 1447 AH.

All government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils will remain closed.
Essential services are exempted from the holiday declaration.
The Sindh Eid holidays 2026 also exclude departments and offices engaged in budget preparation for the financial year 2026-27.

These offices will continue to function normally during the holiday period. The exemption ensures timely completion of the provincial budget.
Chief Secretary Sindh, Asif Hyder Shah, issued the formal notification. Copies have been forwarded to all administrative secretaries, commissioners, deputy commissioners, and other relevant authorities.
The public is advised to plan accordingly for the four-day holiday period.
