As the international energy crisis deepens, Karachi is bracing for a significant reduction in domestic gas supply.
According to emerging reports from industry sources, the gas company is preparing to slash daily gas availability from 16 hours down to just 11 hours due to a critical shortage of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG).

The Proposed 11-Hour Timetable
While the gas company has yet to issue a formal public notice, insiders suggest the new load-management plan will restrict gas to three primary windows:
- Morning: 6:00 am to 10:00 am
- Afternoon: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Evening: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Residents are strongly advised to plan their daily needs according to this timetable and make necessary arrangements in advance.
This will help avoid any inconvenience or shortage-related problems during the restricted hours.
The new schedule is expected to remain in place until the RLNG supply situation improves.
