The United States has introduced stricter rules for individuals seeking US citizenship, especially through family-based immigration.

According to international media reports, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued new guidelines to tighten the review process for family-sponsored immigrant visa applications, particularly those based on marriage.

If a US citizen wants to sponsor a foreign spouse, the couple must now provide strong evidence to prove the authenticity of their relationship.

Applicants must submit documents such as joint financial records, photos, and written communication with family or friends as proof.

These measures aim to prevent fraud and ensure that only genuine couples are approved for green cards.
