Brilliant full-toss from Rauf! Angling in at pace, the ball slightly reverses and thuds Nabi’s back pad before crashing into the stumps. Mohammad Nabi goes for 16 off 10 balls with 1 four and 1 six.

  • Shakib Removes Vince With Loopy Leg-Side Trap

Breakthrough for Shakib Al Hasan! A leg-side long-hop tempted James Vince, who looked to break free but mistimed the whip straight to Mohammad Naeem at deep backward square.

  • Pitch Report

Pitch report from Mike Haysman and Alastair Cook suggests another high-scoring thriller on the cards.

The duo praised the ground staff for maintaining the surface despite it being used for the 13th match on the square. “The pitch was true, regrowth excellent, and bounce consistent,” said Haysman.

Cook added that 388 runs were scored yesterday, with 64 percent coming from boundaries — slightly above the usual 60 percent.

Although there’s a little less grass, curator Tony believes it won’t affect play. A par score around 200 is expected again today.
