The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, has announced a paid internship program offering up to Rs. 70,000 per month for eligible candidates.
This internship aims to help fresh graduates and postgraduates gain hands-on industry experience. Interns will work full-time at OEC’s Islamabad office for an initial two-year term, subject to performance.
Internship Fields and Required Skills
Internship positions are open in the following fields:
- Information Technology: MERN Stack, Python, Figma, Canva, system architecture
- Finance and Audit: Budgeting, audits, risk tools, Excel, QuickBooks
- Marketing and Research: Content creation, Adobe Suite, social media, event planning
- Human Resource Management: Recruitment, HR laws, training, performance reviews
Monthly Stipends Based on Education
The stipend depends on education level:
- Graduates (14 years): Rs. 50,000/month
- Postgraduates (16 years): Rs. 60,000/month
- Postgraduates with specialization (18 years): Rs. 70,000/month
- Applicants must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or 70% marks, and their degrees must be obtained within the last two years.
Key Requirements, Terms
- Age Limit: Under 30 years as of deadline
- Gender: Open to all
- Laptop and transport: Interns must manage themselves
- Full-time attendance: Mandatory under OEC policy
- No TA/DA: Provided for interviews or tests
- Original documents are required at the interview. Providing false information can result in disqualification.
