Karachi police authorities have decided to hold wedding hall management accountable for any incidents of aerial firing outside their premises, with strict instructions being issued to officers at the district level to ensure enforcement.
According to police officials, Station House Officers (SHOs) have been directed to notify wedding hall management within their respective police station limits.
If any person associated with an event is found engaging in aerial firing within the hall’s premises, a case will be filed against the management, the police officials stated.
Additionally, Karachi police officials announced that awareness banners will be put up in public spaces to aware public about the dangers and legal consequences of aerial firing.
