New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 scheduled to be held in Pakistan and UAE from February 19 to March 9, 2025.
Mitchell Santner, the bowling all-rounder who captained New Zealand’s white-ball teams last month, will lead the side in the upcoming eight-team tournament and the tri-nation series against hosts Pakistan and South Africa, set to take place from February 8 to 14.
Santner, who will captain New Zealand for the first time in a men’s senior ICC event, will take on the role of the primary spinner, with support from all-rounders Michael Bracewell, Glenn Phillips, and Rachin Ravindra.
New Zealand, placed in Group A, will begin their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against hosts Pakistan in the opening match in Karachi on February 19.
