Karachi has reported 2,310 malaria cases in 2024, with Malir district experiencing the highest number of cases, according to the Sindh Health Department.
As reported by media, the spokesperson of Sindh Health Department revealed that the most number of malaria cases, approximately 1,187, were reported from Malir district.
Followed by Korangi with 357, South District with 316, West District has reported 267 cases, while East district 92, and Central district 91.
Notably, no malaria cases have been reported from Keamari district throughout the year, from January to December.
