A recent survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan reveals that nearly half, 47 percent, of Pakistanis have never traveled by train.
The findings indicate that most citizens rely heavily on rickshaws, buses, and vans for daily commutes.
Approximately 80 percent of respondents reported using rickshaws, while 79 percent commute via buses and wagons.
Conversely, 18 percent and 17 percent of respondents, respectively, mentioned never using these modes of transport.

In terms of train travel, the survey showed a balanced split – 47 percent of Pakistanis reported having used trains, while the same percentage had not.
In northern regions of the country, where cable cars or lifts are commonly used, only 14 percent of respondents reported utilizing these modes of transportation, with a significant 73 percent stating they had never used them.
