NADRA self-service kiosks Karachi City

Karachi to get NADRA’s self-service kiosks to apply documents, ID cards

Citizens willing to make ID cards will no longer face the hassle of long queues, as the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the installation of self-service enrolment kiosk machines for the residents of Karachi to streamline the process.

Karachi will be the first city to benefit from these machines, which NADRA plans to install in public locations, including railway stations, airports, shopping malls, educational institutions, and government offices.

The new machines will allow residents to renew smart ID cards, report lost cards, and access other identity services without waiting in line.

These automated systems will handle ID processing through biometric scans, Iris recognition, and photograph collection.

Upon choosing an urgent or standard service, applicants will receive a QR code to track their application status.

Digital payment options will further simplify the procedure. Once processed, documents such as ID cards and B forms will be delivered to applicants’ homes within 15 to 30 days.
