Donald Trump pledges to secure borders, lawful immigration to US

The newly elected US President – Donald Trump – in his victory speech pledged to secure the border with legislation and ensure to regulate the immigration in the country.

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, was elected President of the United States for a second term, he got 277 electoral votes over rival Kamala Harris.

In his victory speech, delivered at a convention center in Florida, Donald Trump thanked the American people for their support, calling his win “a political victory for America.” He expressed pride in the campaign, saying, “Without your votes, my victory would not have been possible.”

Trump pledged not to initiate new conflicts, stating, “I will not start any new war, but I will also end the ongoing wars.”

He emphasized his commitment to making the country “safe, strong, and prosperous” while securing its borders and ensuring that immigration is both lawful and regulated.

Addressing his supporters, Trump highlights his determination to unite the country and strengthen its global position. “This is a victory the likes of which we’ve never seen,” he said. “America will now rise to new heights, and my next term will be a golden age.”

Calling for national unity, Trump noted that the time has come to “end division and heal the wounds of our country.”

He pledged tax relief as part of his agenda, aiming to offer financial relief and stability to the American people.

Trump also acknowledged the challenges of the past four years, pledging to make this term “a new journey” toward fulfilling the dreams of the American people.

As news of his victory spread, supporters gathered outside the White House and the Republican headquarters in Florida to celebrate.

The security around the White House was increased as Trump supporters cheered and celebrated what they called a historic win.
