Police have arrested three brothers while making progress in a case pertaining to a body found in the parking lot of Karachi Cattle Market a few days ago.
The body was identified as Owais, a jeweller who had 30 tolas (350 grams) of gold in his possession on the day of the incident.
According to police, the three men arrested for the alleged murder used to be friends with Owais
According to the investigation, the accused took Owais to the cattle market under false pretences and allegedly murdered him by giving him poisoned alcohol. Owais’s body was found at the cattle market parking lot on July 2.
Police say the suspects sold the 350 grams of gold to a man named Abdul Aziz. Aziz was also taken into custody by the police and 3 kilograms of gold were recovered from his posession.
